A Client Journey
One Relationship.
Multiple Moves.
Representation that evolves with the objective.
What began as a conversation about selling one home became a long-term real-estate relationship spanning multiple sales, purchases, investment property, new construction and a family referral.
This is not a story about one address. It is a story about helping a client make a series of intentional moves as her goals changed.

The Opportunity
What began as a conversation about selling one home became a long-term real-estate relationship.
After being introduced through a personal connection, Lance met with the client and her fiancé at 4809 Megan Drive to discuss selling their home.
The objective was not simply to complete one transaction. It was to make the right move, preserve flexibility and position the client for what came next.
Lance represented the sale of Megan Drive, and the client then took time to strengthen her financial position before purchasing again.
02
The Strategy
When the time was right, Lance represented her purchase of 10548 John Glenn Street in Lanham.
As her needs continued to evolve, the strategy evolved with them.
Lance later represented the sale of John Glenn, helping the client use the financial position she had built to make the next move: a substantially larger new-construction single-family home in Glenn Dale — the strongest move-up moment of the journey.
The relationship also extended beyond her primary residence. Lance represented the sale of her Washington, DC investment property at 1431 New Jersey Avenue NW.
03
The Result
This was not one transaction. It became a sequence of decisions across different stages of ownership.
Sell/Pause/Buy/Reposition/Sell/Move Up
The relationship eventually extended beyond the client herself. She later referred a family member to Lance, leading to the sale of 5800 Supra Place in Riverdale.
The common thread was not a particular property type, neighborhood or price point. It was continuity of representation.
Closing Day
The next chapter, made official.
“The goal was never simply to complete the next transaction. It was to understand what the client was working toward — and help each move support the one that followed.”
The property changed.
The objective changed.
The representation continued.
